In this video we are going to be installing the latest version of Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi 4 using an SSD. It's a little fiddly but follow along and you will be fine. In this video I am using a Raspberry Pi 4b 8GB and installing the 64bit Pi image.

By the end of it you should have Home Assistant booting from an SSD!

How to create blank SSH file (simple method)?
Open Notepad++ (note notepad). Create a file and call it ssh. Then save the file and change they type to *all files*

▬ Linux Commands needed (In order of use) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
1) sudo raspi-config
2) sudo nano /etc/default/rpi-eeprom-update

PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST DO COMMANDS 3 AND 4
____________________________________________________
(sorry its not that clear in this video)
3) sudo apt update
4) sudo apt full-upgrade
5) sudo reboot
6) sudo rpi-eeprom-update
7) sudo raspi-config
8) sudo shutdown -h now

Again don't worry if this stuff didn't make sense. I will explain more in the next video if you are interested.
